MGD-S Potter Merlin Graffiti Detector

The innovative and award winning Merlin Graffiti Detector is a versatile and cost-effective solution to the problem of graffiti.

Advanced heuristics and algorithms allow the Merlin to identify the sound signature of aerosol-spray paint typically within 5–8 seconds. The technology is reliable, accurate and proven through extensive testing.

 The Merlin can be connected to a local siren that will sound and deter the perpetrator in the act of spraying graffiti or it can be integrated with remote CCTV, security sytem and alarm monitoring solutions to assist in the apprehension of offenders.

 When installed at the optimum height of 4.5m, the Merlin can protect an area up to 7.5m wide at a typical 1.2m spray height. To maximise the level of protection even further, several units can be linked together.

 The size, coverage area and cost are similar to that of standard PIR motion detectors yet the underlying technology is vastly more sophisticated. Couple this with the fact that the Merlin Graffiti Detector will deter perpetrators from returning and therefore minimise repeated paint removal bills, this makes the device a cost effective solution.
