The BBV Asgard Physical Interface is a unique device that can join existing alarm detection & alarm systems to the ASGARD range and other IP ready devices.
The strength of the Asgard Physical Interface lies in its flexibility and simplicity, it can be deployed as a standalone unit or as part of a larger system, it is an easily installed system without the need for any other control equipment. The web page offers remote control either via LAN or WAN access.
Applications include control of video selection in retail outlets on alarms, education facilities, banking halls and finance, Transport, etc.
On receipt of an alarm the Physical Interface will respond in a predetermined way. These can include:
1. The sending of an email
2. Sending a CGI command to another network connected device; these can include an additional Asgard Physical Interface, Asgard Decoders, Asgard Video Clients and 3rd party equipment
3. Activation on integral change over relays
4. Transmission of a serial data packet (Asgard Physical Interface 8x2xS)
