16-112, ProFyre Addressable Sounder Control Unit with Isolator
The Addressable Sounder Circuit Controller is designed to run conventional style alarm devices such as electronic sounders, bells and beacons, where the current consumption prohibits the use of ProFyre addressable loop powered devices. The module also includes input terminals to monitor a remote power supply.
The module is not loop powered. A suitable 24Vdc input is required with the necessary battery back-up compacity. Note, the external supply should provide adequate current to operate the ProFyre Addressable Sounder Circuit Controller in addition to operating the connected larm load.A bi-directional short-circuit isolator has been fitted to the interface module to ensure continued funtionality in the event of a short-circuit on either the loop in or out terminals.
