Fermax, 3253, 2 Way DUOX Regenerator

Device that enables regenerating the Duox signal in both directions, isolating different sections of the installation and expanding terminal distances and capacities. Inputs and outputs get isolated as protection against short circuits, load and signal reflections.

It includes 1 Input and 2 Outputs. As it has 2 outputs, it allows for increasing the number of risers isolated from each other. It requires a power supply (filter not required) and it allows for supplying up to 20 terminals per output (40 in total with the source ref. 4830).

Recommended use: extending distances, increasing the number of terminals, isolating segments of the installation, isolating cable section changes on the same segment, as well as increasing the number of risers in an installation.

DIN-10 rail format for easy installation inside an electrical equipment box, or can can be screwed directly onto the wall.

DUOX System:
This is the first completely digital system in two-wire non-polarized technology. This is the most technologically advanced system in the world, allowing fast installation with just two wires. The most highly simplified and advanced installation system on the market. It maximizes intercom system capacities thanks to digital audio and video transmission.

Duox offers maximum ease of installation, enabling transmission of all signals: power feed, audio, video and data with the highest capacities.

- From 1 to 999,999 apartments:

DUOX offers maximum versatility thanks to the stability and strength of signal transmission in this fully digital system which avoids possible feedback and interference in the installation.

The DUOX amplifier includes a voice synthesizer. Operating the lock release issues a message: “door open, close after entry”.

Up to three terminals (telephones/monitors) can be installed in each apartment.

Apartment terminals require simple programming. This programming assigns a call code to each terminal.

Communication is private.

Cables:

• Any type of cable may be selected: parallel, twisted pair and UTP CAT5 in new installations; even existing cables in replacement work can be used (5 wires, 2-wire bell or old 4+N wire).
• Non-polarized 2-wire.

Technical Specifications:

This device can be connected in two different ways:
- Power supply mode only to risers: in this case the power supply reaches each of the risers.
- Power supply to risers and panels: in this case the power supply reaches each of the risers and also the street panels (when the street panel does not have a local supply).

If the splitter module does not include a power supply, the terminal limit will no longer depend on the power supplying capacity of the splitter, instead, it will depend on the voltage drop. In the worst operating scenario, the last terminal connected to the riser must receive at least 15V and this depends on the wiring and the supported telephone load.

The maximum direct current load during the start is 1A.
