This morticer is designed and constructed for demanding workshop use. It features a powerful 1hp induction motor, facilitating mortises of up to 1” (25.4mm) in softwoods and 3⁄4” (19mm) in hardwoods with ease. A precision milled cast iron table offers both lateral and longitudinal adjustment via well positioned hand wheels. Coupled with this, a hydraulic gas strut provides a counterbalance, ensuring optimum control and a reassuring quality of movement in operation.
