Videx, 2206V, Bus Video Exchange Device (SP316)

The VX2206-VX2206/V is an electronic BUS exchanger controlled by the "Busy" signal of the door panels or the Concierge panel. By using this device (1 required for each block), it is possible to have "main entrances" and "block entrances" on the same "2 wire BUS" (in this way the system can have one or more semi- independent lines or multiple speech paths).

This device switches the "Main BUS" (from the main entrances) and the "Local BUS" (from the block entrances) to the "BUS out" which is connected to the flats. For video intercom applications, use the 2206/V (4 wires no-coax for video intercom systems locally supplied or 6 wire for centrally supplied).

The circuit is built into a 5 modules DIN (or 9 for VX2206/V) and incorporates a 4 way Dip-switch to be configured according to the number of phones connected to the output.

For use with two level systems with main entrances  and block entrances. Enables multiple speech paths  (One per block). Use 2206A for audio systems and 2206V for video systems.
