2213 Remote Relay from Videx Security has been introduced to provide increased security for the company's VX2200 door entry system.

This solution is designed for local authorities, housing associations and other parties looking to meet the security requirements of the Secured By Design scheme, the initiative from the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) that aims to reduce crime through the installation of security products that meet police approved standards.

The VX2200 systems' digital and conventional entrance panels are amongst the Videx products that have undergone testing to achieve Secured by Design accreditation. Specifiers can confidently include them within their designs, knowing that they will help to achieve Secured by Design building accreditation and meet new planning requirements

The 2213 remote relay connects directly to the VX2200 2 wire bus and is powered from a 12Vdc supply. Once programmed with an ID to match the entrance panel it will allow the on board relay to be ac Ɵ vated by users in apartments via their telephone or videophone, a concierge or an access code entered on the entrance panel. The dry contact changeover relay output ac Ɵ va Ɵ on  Ɵ me is programmable from 1 To 30 seconds.
