Maximum transmission ranges are achieved when the equipment is pole mounted with clear line of sight i.e. with no obstructions such as trees, hills, buildings etc. The higher the equipment is mounted above ground the better the system performance. A field trial is necessary on all sites to ensure local conditions are favourable.
